Describe and feel more comfortable with the role of a team leader.
Identify and implement methods to facilitate team work.
Select and use improved communication and supervisory practices.
Identify techniques and deliver feedback to members of your team.
Recognize and create an environment that facilitates staff motivation.

The course uses a variety of interactive teaching tools including:
Multiple Choice and True False Questions
Interactive Worksheets
Breakouts and Clickable Icons
Customized Personal Action Plan
And Other Printed Information and Materials for You and Your Team
This class is not intended to provide you with specific dementia care skills, such as how to manage negative behaviors in your residents or how to engage your residents on a one-onto-one basis. Other classes have been developed for that purpose. To learn more about them or to register visit www.alz.org/qualitycare.

Even if you are an experienced supervisor, this course is for you. Staff supervisors need ongoing coaching to help them empower and support the direct care staff to be decision-makers.
